PRICING COORDINATOR- New Castle

Position Summary: *
We are looking for our next employee-owner to join our Pricing Team in New Castle, DE! If you enjoy working with numbers and spreadsheets, then this is the job for you! The ideal candidate loves working in a fast-paced environment, reviewing and processing various reports and analyses to optimize sales and margin. The ability to cross-train and collaborate within a multi-functional team is a must to ensure accurate pricing strategies.

Position Responsibilities: *

• Vendor rebate coordination, including but not limited to:
• Rebate collection.
• Rebate reconciliation.
• Contract management and product maintenance.
• Vendor communication and coordination as pertains to rebates/contracts.
• Cross-train and learn other responsibilities in the Pricing Team to be able to backup and support, as necessary.
• Review and process assigned daily system reports.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around contracts, costs, pricing and margin.
• Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures, as necessary.
• Establish a system of documentation, communication and review of internal and external comparative data.
• Manage price change execution related to quotes, including data integrity and consistency.
• Monitor and update price lists as needed.
• Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.
• Work closely with internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
• Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
• Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed.
• Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications: *

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
• Ability to cross train with other team members.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge a plus.
• Detail oriented, organized, consistent and tenacious.
• Organized with strong time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Understanding of pricing concepts and related principles beneficial.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
