The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital health centers are a central source for preventative, primary care in Essex County. Practicing at our community-based health centers offers the opportunity to provide care for a diverse mix of patients and utilize the full extent of your education and training.

We are seeking a full time BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician. Physician opportunities are currently available at two health centers located between the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain. With flexible hours and easy access to hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, skiing and more, you can take advantage of world class recreational opportunities and enjoy the region’s laid-back lifestyle.

Our health centers offer a broad scope of practice, including diagnosis and management of routine health problems, health maintenance and screenings and urgent care for injuries and illnesses. Through our partnership with The University of Vermont Health Network, physicians share knowledge and resources to give patients access to leading-edge technology, advanced treatment options and the highest level of compassionate care. Opportunities are also available to work with medical students and residents.

Elizabethtown is located in the beautiful Adirondack Region. The Adirondack Regions feature over 100 welcoming communities, mountains, lakes, verdant valleys and steep cliffs. Spanning more than six million acres, the Adirondack Mountains are home to the largest protected natural area in the lower 48 of the United States.
