Mobile Physician Services is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician to join our growing team of house-call medical professionals in the Ocala, FL, area. An active Florida medical license is required. A reliable mode of transportation is essential as this position requires frequent travel to patient homes within the Ocala, FL, area. The perfect candidate will enjoy being an engaging and positive member of our valued team and should have thorough knowledge and understanding of geriatrics with the ability to identify when a patient needs to be referred to specialized care. This role requires the highest caliber of professionalism and exemplary communication with internal and external contacts. Strong attention to detail is required as this position routinely handles patient information in electronic medical records. Personable, service-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply!

The Primary Care Physician's responsibilities include:

• Conduct annual wellness visits for patients, including new illnesses and follow-up exams.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for homebound patients for acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses via analyzing and interpreting medical histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain standards of care and professional practice guidelines.
• Provide pain management as needed
• Collaborate with our team of specialists to develop treatment plans for high-risk patients.
• Partnering with local home health agencies, labs, imaging companies, and vendors.
• Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding self-management of diagnosis.
• Oversee an assigned team of Nurse Practitioners and PAs.
• Respond to patient and caregiver questions in a timely and knowledgeable manner
• Maintain compliance with HIPPA and Health Care regulations.
