PRINT APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Summary:

Cathedral Corporation has an opening for a Print Application Developer. This role is primarily focused on implementation of Document Composition solutions which prepare data-driven production files for print manufacturing. Success in this role requires strong communication, and an ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

What you will be doing:

· Must be able to analyze client requirements for full color variable data printing; review information about program intent, functions, data requirements, input and output requirements.

· Utilize variable software to build and generate internal and client proofs as well as final sample documents.

· Develop and manage project-specific workflow documentation, and maintain established programs and processes developed for specific customer programs.

· Work in a team environment, coordinating with Data Operations, Account Management, Production and other departments to move jobs efficiently through the lifecycle process at the highest level of quality and accuracy, and on schedule.

· Respond to inquiries regarding status and change requests.

What you will need:

· Quadient Inspire experience a plus

· Experience with print stream formats: PDF, Postscript, AFP, and PCL

· Strong data background working with client source data, including xml

· The ability to handle complex variable data projects utilizing Visual Studio, C##

· Ability to diagnose and resolve production performance issues

· Ability to handle proprietary and sensitive information in a confidential manner

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
