The Senior Producer is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of production, beginning with concept creation up until final asset delivery. This person will need to understand schedules, budgeting, and the necessary roles needed to produce content, and have an understanding of what costs need to be accounted for in a production. This role requires knowledge of and extensive experience in production, particularly in 360 Campaigns.
When a request comes in the Senior Producer determines the level of effort, develops a detailed project timeline, and provides high level costs. He/she ensures the production is on track and running smoothly, ensures the right content is being captured and processed, while balancing the needs of the client.
Production success is defined not only as on time and on budget, but meeting client business requirements in a way that demonstrates creativity. It’s important to have an overall knowledge of all levels of production process from pre-production, production, and post production. As such, strong critical thinking will be required to react to the unknown as well as a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Day to Day responsibilities include:
- Proper and innovative execution of work in all areas on schedule
- Work directly with account, creative, and clients
- Manage timelines, status, budgets, deliverables
- Ballpark estimates for upcoming productions.
- The ability to work with other agencies outside of Publicis.
- The role is client facing and as such will require the Producer to have a professional demeanor.
- Some travel may be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Have an overall knowledge of all levels of production process from pre-production, production, and post production.
- Planning, Analyzing, Evaluating creative work and bringing it to life within production.
- Develop workable LOEs (Level of Effort), work plans and realistic timetables.
- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates the work, relative to the client’s needs and objectives: all assigned creative projects, internal agency projects and assigned new business projects.
- Defining project scope, estimate and technical specifications, works with account and project management team in the creation of project specifications and time plans.
- Educates account team and clients and manages their needs and expectations as they relate to production.
- Create specifications and manage proofing
- Understand the cost, production and quality implications of materials/paper/
- Determines project risk on an ongoing basis, escalates issues as needed. Foreseeing concerns and complication, troubleshooting on the fly, and setting expectations with necessary parties accordingly.
- Create and maintain well-established relationships with vendors and facilitate communication
- Keeping project status reports up to date and communicating to all relevant department leads – account, project management, legal, business affairs, cost consultants, and the client.
- Monitoring stock purchases with art buying and ensuring business affairs has all necessary documentation for tracking.
- Project quality assurance - review of output, reviewing outputted deliverables against scope.
- Strong business and personal ethics
- 5-7 years of production experience (with some print production specifically)
- Some Agency experience
- Well versed in executing 360 campaigns (Out of Home, Retail, Stills & Video, Radio & TV & quality Social)
- Interest in and aptitude for producing creative and marketing solutions
- Knowledge of motion & still image production
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Print Production and Content Production
- Multi-tasker; vast production knowledge; reacts quickly and smartly to setbacks or changes to projects; great communicator and anticipator.
- Good knowledge of local production companies/vendors/shipping.
- Capable managing any type of content production (stills, motion, digital, print).
- Knowledge of post-production programs and workflows (Adobe Suite + Workfront).
- Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
- Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to Multitask within various projects and at the same time maintain a satisfactory standing with employer demands.
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure.
- An understanding of working with Retail clients

Compensation Range: $35.34 - $59.38. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
