About this opportunity
This position is responsible for assisting the Press Operator in preparing and running the press for print jobs.
12-hour Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, Alternating days of the work week
Example of work schedule:
Week 1: Scheduled days- Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
Week 2: Scheduled days- Sun, Wed, Thur

What you will do

• Assist in preparing press and all job components for print job
• Makes changes to inks as needed during printing, while checking viscosity of ink on an hourly basis
• Takes finished film off machine and loads it onto pallet for pick up
• Retrieves and Returns ink to and from ink room and cleans machine for next job
• Responsible for managing and handling hazardous waste.
• Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machine
• Performs rework as necessary

• Ability to read, write, and understand simple and concise instructions or information
• Production experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
