Position Summary
Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., Inc., a regional leader in the distribution sales of electrical materials, services, and supplies, seeks a highly motivated self-starter to serve as Process Control Specialist. The successful candidate will lead the promotion and sales efforts for the Plant PAX, the modern distributed control system (DCS) from Rockwell Automation. Plant PAX is a plant wide control system that utilizes a common automation platform to seamlessly integrate both process and discrete control as well as plant wide information. Successful candidate will be experienced with industrial plant processes, DCS (Distributed Control Systems), computers, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and their associated hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Business development, business/sales plan development and execution, internal and external customer training, internal and external product sales support (including proposal and quotation development).
• Provide training when necessary.
• Liaison with key vendor partners.
• Markets products via counter days, trade shows, digital marketing, and advertising campaigns.
• Serves as backup and support to the Rockwell Inside Sales and Outside Sales.

Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications

• Strong Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C.
• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
