The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse
people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Leading improvement projects and Lean Six Sigma efforts impacting safety, cycle time, uptime, yield, service, cost, and inventory benefits.
  • Providing technical support to production and plant engineering resources to improve stability and reliability metrics.
  • Working together with local technical teams on division level projects which are focused on the internal manufacturing operations.
  • Defining, scoping, and supporting engineering teams with implementation of capital investments.
  • Being responsible for strong leadership in driving EHS&R alignment, with the support of the plant Safety organization related to
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) combined years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Five (5) combined years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military
  • Strong technical skills focused on mechanical, electrical, chemical, or pneumatic systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Past experience with PLC Logic, mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize personal workload, as well as provide guidance for support functions (plant engineering, supply chains, etc.).

Travel: May include up to 5% (domestic/international)
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to

the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

citizens.
