Job Summary
The Process Technician is responsible for troubleshooting the injection molding process to ensure machines are working properly, while supporting management to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvements. In this role you will also be responsible for changing molds and assisting on the shop floor when needed.

Major Responsibilities

• Maintaining and verifying correct set-up of molds, processes, and auxiliary equipment before machine start up
• Establishing proper molding conditions
• Performing process monitoring and troubleshooting
• Ensuring product quality by adhering to the Quality Systems
• Performing mold, material, and tooling change overs as dictated by the schedule
• Maintains EOAT (end of arm tooling) for automation
• Follows daily production schedule and prioritizes work for improved efficiency
• Maintains setup sheets and records changes, notifies Sr. Processing Technician, Shift Supervisor and Engineering of problems
• Maintains 5S housekeeping of work area by removing unnecessary items, organizing storage for efficient use, cleaning and inspecting your area regularly, and tracking progress
• Adheres to all Safety guidelines and wears proper PPE
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of of experience with injection molding setup, start, troubleshooting, processes, and quality systems
• Must be detail oriented, logical, and methodological in approach to problem solving
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to include technical writing

Physical Demands

• This is a Safety Sensitive position.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Little Rock, AR 72206: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
