Job description
The Procurement Manager leads the purchasing team and is responsible for all purchasing processes including vendor selection and management, price negotiation, purchase order execution, working with office team and helping RFP potential new/replacement vendors. Job tasks include but are not limited to:
- Design, plan, and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
- Assist with yearly budget process along with monthly forecasting of expenses
- Help coordinate supply deliveries with suppliers and field management if needed
- Maintain a database of approved suppliers - Lexion
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate lower pricing
- Search and source potential suppliers and vendors
- Track, measure, and analyze company expenditures
- Determine and track KPIs
- Provide reporting for upper management
- Assist Accounts Payable when needed with pricing discrepancies
- Minimum five – ten years of previous working experience in Procurement Management
- Minimum five – ten years of Software/SAAS/data engineering field
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or similar relevant field.

- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications -NetSuite (ERP) - Salesforce (CRM)
- Working remotely if outside of Chicagoland area
- Flexibility in working hours – some evenings and weekends will be required
