Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New Role… This producer will work with fellow producers and correspondents to generate stories for television and digital. Your Role Accountabilities… Collaborate and coordinate with editors, photojournalists, guest bookers, show and segment producers to create compelling pieces for the network.Produce live segments, both in the field or in the studio or from remote network locations including the White House.Support Senior producer or correspondents in crafting scripts for television by identifying relevant sound and assist in crafting graphics. Reports and write pieces from the White House on day of news for digital.Leverage skills in field producing, interviewing in person and remotely.Qualifications & Experience… Established working experience in a professional news or sports environment.Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work with reporting teams but also with on-air talent.Ability to have flexible work schedules – including nights and weekends - for a constantly changing news environment Strong news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, organization skills, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic.Strong knowledge of newsgathering and social media.Some experience in field producing, interviewing, as well as research and production a must.Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related discipline or equivalent in experience.How We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
