The Role

Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this person will be fully remote with the option for in-person gatherings. You will be responsible for collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and executive stakeholders to conduct analysis and share findings that impact our product roadmap, create more efficient product development cycles, and improve the overall customer experience. Apploi is a Remote First environment.

Who You Are

• You have 1-3 years of experience in roles where you owned projects or initiatives solving complex analytical problems end-to-end, ideally focused on product analysis
  • E.g data analytics, product analytics, business analytics, recruiting analytics, sales and marketing analytics, etc.
• Strong hands-on data analysis skills, ability to develop both complex SQL queries and craft advanced formulas within excel
• Experience working with at least one relational database system (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc) as well as with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Sisense, Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
• You’re a creative problem solver with a strong sense for structured thinking and challenging the status quo. You have owned initiatives solving complex business problems end-to-end
• You’re an excellent communicator, both internally and externally. Demonstrated cross-functional and stakeholder management experience in a fast paced and challenging environment preferred
• You get things done and no task is too small - you’re both a team player and executor with a deep sense of ownership
• Prior experience working with end users as well as in scrum-based project management capacity preferred

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and assist in managing the rollout of new and existing product features using a combination of SQL, Sisense, and Gainsight PX
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on Apploi’s product feature set, analytics and reporting capabilities, datapoints and metrics that can be made available to product management
• Own the communication and expectation setting regarding reporting deliverables and timelines internally with product and customer success
• Support the evolution of our product by building reports/dashboards and ensuring data is synced and easily accessible for product managers and stakeholders
• Enable product managers with reporting/analysis to inform business and product roadmap decisions
• Partner with product management to provide insights into product usage to inform innovation opportunities or identify areas for optimization
• Analyze various customer and user segments, cohorts and user journey maps throughout the Apploi product to measure feature adoption and drop off
• Identify and support ongoing projects to enhance feature adoption and efficiency
• Plan and design Feature/Segment Events to capture critical data points needed to measure product usage using Segment protocols
• Assist with data hygiene/clean-up and processes related to Segment events and product data
• Make recommendations to expand Apploi’s product analytics tool stack to enhance and broaden our analytics capabilities
