Product Engineer – Portage, Michigan
DISHER is currently partnering with an innovative hydraulic system manufacturer in their search for a Product Engineer.

What you will get to do:

• Manage new product and CI projects through the APQP process to production
• Build, test, and document prototype designs for test purposes
• Incorporate internal and external customer feedback into project requirements
• Set milestones and manage timelines to meet both internal and external dates
• Plan and execute qualification requirements for design leading up to production
• Work with engineering and production floor personnel to address issues with part quality as well as line efficiency
• Communicate and support resolution of product quality issues
• Function in a production environment
• Lead a cross-functional development group of peers

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
• Familiarity with APQP preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects
• Strong communication Skills
• Must have strong problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

• Monday to Friday
