Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Product Engineer for our CNC machine shop real-time monitoring, analytics, and business metrics solution.

Description
As a Product Engineer you will be involved in presales and post sales activities. You will facilitate marketing and sales presentations, and lead product installations, and customer onboarding, training, and support of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) manufacturing analytics platform. You are highly organized, people-oriented, and a great communicator. You can leverage your knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and CNC machine tools to drive our customer’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Support marketing activities including product demonstrations, tradeshows, open houses, and developing customer success stories
• Deliver technical sales presentations and help prepare proposals for prospective customers
• Perform needs analysis gathering machine controller and data management information from customers necessary to ensure an accurate quotation and smooth installation process
• Assemble comprehensive installation plans for each machine at each customer site, then communicate that plan to the customer to set clear expectations
• Lead the onboarding of new customers, performing product installations, customer training and technical support
• Travel to customer facility to do onsite installation of data collection devices and change machine network settings to finalize data connection.
• Perform routine check-ins with customers to maximize their success in performing the desired actions with our products
• Ensure retention and satisfaction of all customers through rapid diagnosis and resolution of support requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in customer success or customer facing support roles
• Experience in IIoT and real-time analytics
• Confidence interfacing with manufacturing personnel at all levels
• Knowledge of networking technology
• Knowledge of CNC machine controls
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous and analytical
• Excellent multi-tasker
• Willing to travel 25% to 30%
