Job Overview:
Blink Fitness is looking for a passionate and capable Product Manager to join their Consumer Technology team. This role will work to bring best-in-class, brand elevating digital products to Blink Fitness, and its members. These products will live both inside, and outside of the gym, and will utilize emerging technologies to engage with Blink Fitness members in new ways.
This is not an engineering role. You will focus heavily on the value your products bring to Blink’s members, and focus less on how your products function. Candidates should have a strong background in analyzing competitive landscapes, ideating with cross-functional stakeholders, evaluating qualitative/quantitative feedback, and navigating executional challenges. Furthermore, candidates applying for this role should have a proven background in being an influencer across all levels of an organization. This means that you should feel confident and energized in front of everyone from associates to leadership, in both one-on-one and group settings.
Blink teams work in a SCRUM environment. Candidates should have an excellent understanding of the SCRUM framework and AGILE principles, as well as a strong background working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with your stakeholders to build a vision and a roadmap for your products, primarily the Blink App to start but may change over time.
- Create and prioritize your backlog.
- Work with your engineers to rapidly prototype and iterate on your products.
- Regularly share your successes and challenges with leadership.
- Work with technology stakeholders to identify and acquire new digital capabilities (AB testing/analytics / etc).
- Work with your agile coach to improve team communication and self-organization.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of product management experience in a SCRUM environment.
- You have experience conducting cross-functional working groups.
- You have experience working with analytics.
- You have experience in online retail / eCommerce.
- You are comfortable creating and delivering presentations.
- Experience working with external digital agencies.
- Experience managing / coaching others.
- Experience working on omni-channel initiatives (technology in brick and mortar facilities).
- Experience working with the fitness, nutrition, well-being, or lifestyle industries.
- Experience working with Jira.
