We are seeking a self-starter with good Excel skills, who can provide analytical and project-related support by quickly analyzing transactions and preparing proposals to provide multi-million dollar loans to owners of multifamily projects throughout the United States.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and review initial analysis of proposed transactions (including but not limited to rent rolls, operating statements, market data, etc.)
  • Review and analyze various affordable docs including but not limited to HAP contracts, regulatory agreements, tax abatements, etc.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to produce sized cash flows and prelim summaries of potential deals.
  • Issue soft quotes and applications after prelim analysis is completed.
  • Keep the transaction managers and clients/originator apprised of progress at the prelim stage.
  • Assist in initial loan packages submissions to agencies.
  • Transition deals to UW including scheduling kick-off calls and preparing loan summary.
  • Keep various CRM and internal tech platforms up to date including Salesforce and Closer.
  • Recommend and establish processes and procedures that improve operational efficiency.
  • Handle other duties/projects across the Greystone platform as needed and assigned.
  • Analyze REO schedules for a potential refinance or disposition opportunities.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in real estate, finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Conscientious, dedicated, and reliable work ethic.
  • Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and executing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Previous real estate experience preferred, but not required.
