Production Associate (Rotating Shifts)

Century Aluminum is a global producer of primary aluminum and operates aluminum reduction facilities in the United States and Iceland.

Our primary aluminum facilities produce standard grade and value-added primary aluminum products.

This is a full-time, hourly position with rotating shifts, located in Mt. Holly, Goose Creek, SC.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Preferred at least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.

High school diploma or GED or Reading and Math Assessment administered by Century Aluminum, Mt Holly.

Must be able to work rotating/swing shift.

Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

JOB DUTIES

Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.

Maintain work areas safe and functional.

Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift.

Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines.

Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
