Valley Cabinet, a leader in the custom cabinetry and door industry, offers great employment opportunities. We are looking for hard working, dedicated individuals to fill our 1st & 2nd shift production positions. Job responsibilities will be to perform a variety of production support duties including, but not limited to: assembling, ensuring quality, manual loading, unloading, prepping, measuring, operating machines, using tools, and sanding.

Responsibilities:

• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing work orders and supervisor with minimal supervision
• Ensure job orders are completed successfully, on-time, and meet customer specifications
• Ability to detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the appropriate team leader
• Learn and retain on the job training
• Safely operate equipment used in various manufacturing processes
• Use a tape measure proficiently to determine dimensions and to ensure accuracy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proficient with fractions and measurements would be helpful
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Physical/ repetitive activities that require considerable use of arms and legs
• Ability to work in an environment where there is exposure to dirt, dust, noise, fumes and odor and is frequently exposed to heat, cold and dryness
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Work hours will vary based on workload:

• 1st shift: Monday-Thursday: 5:30am-3:30pm. Friday: 5:30am-1:30pm
• 2nd shift (offers a $2.00/hour premium): Monday-Thursday: 3:30pm-1:30am. Friday: 1:30pm-8:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.89 - $21.00 per hour
