Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Control Expeditor to work at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Production Control/Shipping.

- Will assist Production Control Planners with the following tasks:
- Movement of material from the stockroom to the floor to support build.
- Movement of boards from completed goods rack to the next step in the process
- Movement of material from finished goods rack to the next area needed for production or shipment.
- Will assist planners with the closing of work orders.
- Work with purchasing on the expediting of shortages.
- Track shortages and deliver to the floor upon acceptance.
- Track and pick small accessory orders.

U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.- 2 years of college w/work experience or Associates degree in associated discipline preferred.
- 0-5 years' experience in Business Environment.
- Must meet training requirements for the position of production control expeditor.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet demands.
- Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills - Fluent in English.
- Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
