Production Worker
Our client in Cicero, IL is looking for a Production Helper to join their team. In this position you will learn multiple bakery production jobs, many of which support machine operator positions. Responsibilities include the consistent production of a high quality product in a baking facility while incorporating safety and sanitation standards. This position is committed to ensuring the best quality products and excellent customer service by following good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Performing various entry-level positions including: Loading and unloading pans from production line.
• Loading and unloading oven and/or proof box.
• Filling in for absent positions in production or packaging areas.
• Taking appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system.
• Responsible for reporting and taking necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
• Performing other duties assigned by Supervisor, including waste disposal.

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as stack and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
• Ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with all employees.
• Available to work holidays and weekends as frequently required.
• Demonstrates solid interpersonal skills and is a team player.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good attendance, and arrive on time.

Experience: Entry Level

2nd Shift: 12 hour Shifts - 5 days/weekly

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

• 5:00pm-5:00am / 5:30pm-5:30am / 6:00pm-6:00am / 6:30pm-6:30am

Pay rate: $16.00/hr + Overtime $24.00!! (WEEKLY PAY)
After 120 days when hired onto client pay increases
