Position Overview

Primary Duties
- Follow prescribed Food Safety Policies.
- Adhere to Safety policies and wear assigned PPE as directed.
- Responsible for execution of Preventative Maintenance Duties.
- Responsible for repair of equipment per written Maintenance procedures.
- Responsible for facility repairs.
General Duties
- Attend and participate in company meetings.
- Participate in assigned employee trainings.
- Execute miscellaneous duties assigned by management.
- Complete daily assigned paperwork to document Preventative and Emergency repairs of equipment and or facility.
Desired Skill Set
- 1+ year of experience as a maintenance/facility mechanic.
- Mechanical, electrical, or troubleshooting vocational school or training strongly desired.
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on food processing equipment.
- Electrical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs.
- Food industry, maintenance experience.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to withstand cold and hot temperatures with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when business dictates.
