Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide.

Continental Carbonic maintains a reliable network of dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Continental Carbonic can quickly react to customers' needs.

PRODUCTION MANAGER (DAYS) - BROOKHAVEN, MS

Typical hours Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (subject to change based on need of organization).

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• In lieu of degree, minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a process manufacturing environment required.
• Technical background also highly desirable
• Lead industrial safety programs that help ensure the protection and safety of all employees
• Responsible for all aspects of the daily manufacturing & production operations
• Calculate production rates and configure the plant operations to meet production demands and ensure proper execution of production schedule
• Achieve teaching level of knowledge and demonstrate proficiency of every production job as well as understanding of the rest of the functioning departments to include branch, administration, and distribution
• Have a basic understanding of the manufacturing process to include liquid production, ice production, ammonia refrigeration and be able to trouble shoot these areas and make necessary corrections and know where to seek help when unable to rectify the situation
• Read and assess Profit and Loss statements and take corrective action in their area of control
• Practice good manufacturing management principles and adhere to established best practices in hiring, promoting, directing, reviewing, disciplining and motivating employees
• Any other duties that can ensure successful company operation

Qualifications:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Possess good computer skills to including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively/continuously
• Prior company certified forklift experience
• Background with screw compressors, ammonia refrigeration systems, and/or hydraulics a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
