The Production Manager supports the day to day running of a studio account and oversees work. This role provides day-to-day support and works across multiple accounts whenever needed. The Production Manager collates and consolidates client orders and parses the information to create internal projects within our bespoke order management and scheduling system to in turn feed the operation and ensure all assets are created in time for large scale global launches. The successful candidate will be required to shepherd projects successfully through each stage in the postproduction and localization workflow and collaborate effectively with the operational teams. The Production Manager will also be responsible for processing billing orders, creating cost breakdowns and other, related reports specific to their account in a timely fashion to ensure billing remains up to date. - Report and escalate all successes and win’s in an open and timely manner
- Ensure the department’s operations are delivered on time and within budget
- Strategically manage scheduling of resources and deliver clear reporting metrics on a regular basis
- Identify change requests driven by the customer. Evaluate costs, generate requirements, and manage customer and internal priorities and expectation in a timely manner
- Develop sales and/or new business opportunities and negotiate commercial terms with clients
- Ensure services are delivered to budget and at or above agreed SLAs
- Act as the senior point of liaison and escalation for issues
- Partner Management & Strategic customer alignment
- Deal directly with multiple Vubiquity services supporting large strategic customers and smaller customers
- Successfully deliver time critical projects to a pre-agreed budget
- Create workflows and identify efficiencies that reduce internal costs and build additional customer value
- Identify process gaps, provide solutions, and align multiple internal departments for support
- Develop best in class processes and procedures to manage risk
- Develop and oversee KPIs and reporting protocols in cooperation with Business Operations
- Actively coach and mentor the team, ultimately producing a high performing team that is constantly willing and able to exceed expectations
- Maintain and improve key client relationships
- Create an open and honest working atmosphere that can proactively identify and fix issues before they impact our service to the client.
All you need is...
- 5+ years’ experience of working within a busy, deadline driven client environment
- Knowledge of Localization, Advanced Digital Formats, and Digital / Component delivery specs an advantage
- A knowledge of distribution technologies, client ordering workflows, and resource coordination
- Excellent communication skills
