We are currently searching for a Production Planner:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for production and capacity planning and the management of production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements. Capable of the review and analysis of raw materials based on customer demand, history, including the management of planning parameters in an MRP/EERP system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish master production schedule by department and work center and work with production supervision to ensure schedule attainment
- Review production attainment vs. plan and adjust schedule and resources to meet customer schedules
- Responsible for materials planning for raw/purchased/outside processed material
- Responsible for safety stock level maintenance
- Evaluates weekly past due report and make adjustments as needed.
- Coordinates/Communicate with Customer Service and Production on any upcoming material shortages.
- Work with Engineering on new item releases to ensure production material available for customer order.
- Work with Quality on rejected material.
- Releases jobs to production floor based on capacity and material availability
- Works with customer service on cancellation/changes of orders.
- Reviews WIP inventory and makes adjustments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Associate’s degree (A. S.) from four-year college or university; two to five years related experience and/or training; Bachelor’s degree preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- ERP system operations – Infor Visual experience a plus
- MS Office with advanced Excel skills

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
