Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift!
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitors and tracks quality through inspection rounds
  • Schedule’s staffing based on production needs
  • Monitor and help reach shift expectations including machine run rates, setup times, breaks and indirect time
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees directly with production issues or needs
  • Rewards or disciplines employees as needed
  • Champions safety for shift
  • Develops employees’ skills and efficiencies while creating a sense of urgency
  • Communicates between shifts and areas
  • Reconcile employees’ hours to ensure accurate record keeping of hours worked
  • Maintains a presence on the manufacturing floor of at least 80% of the workday
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Writes clearly and informatively, uses all methods of communication for appropriate interaction with all people throughout the organization.
  • Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement. Takes responsibility for subordinates’ activities; makes oneself available to staff. Develops subordinates’ skills and encourages growth. Fosters a quality focus.
  • Ability to use Wyatt and Microsoft computer applications, at an intermediate level.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement, including personal and business development for self and others.
  • Motivates and influences others toward a positive team environment.
  • History of good attendance, dependability, and reliability.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
