Professional Geologist

Remington & Vernick Engineers is looking for an experienced Professional Geologist to join our Pennsylvania Environmental Group in a seller-doer capacity. Our environmental group melds project oversight and the implementation of the technical aspects of site investigation and remediation. The ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of the technical requirements of the PADEP Act 2 program. In this role, you will work closely with other environmental professionals (LSRPs, Environmental Scientists, etc.) to manage, plan and implement a variety of environmental projects. Technical responsibilities would include the completion of environmental due diligence, development/implementation of environmental work plans and remedial strategies and regulatory reporting. Management responsibilities would include assisting in the growth of our Pennsylvania presence, budget and schedule development, proposal preparation, and mentoring and training of staff.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSES REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. A Professional Geologist license is required and a knowledge of NJ regulatory requirements would be a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge of PADEP Act 2 Program; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to field visits and client meetings are required.
