Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will provide support to Project Director in the planning, organization and implementation of Project Pelichi. You will report to the Program Manager.

Primary Tasks:

• You will plan schedules, maintain reports and confidential records, inventory, data entry.

• You will prepare and format documents and assist staff inputting and editing project reporting.

• You will assist staff during orientation and trainings.

• You will provide general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks on a daily basis.

• You will coordinate summer STEAM camps for Native students in grades five through twelve and STEAM Saturday's multiple times per year.

• You will develop methods to improve program information distribution, collection, documentation or reporting procedures.

• You will produce communications and documentations regarding status of projects.

• You will establish working relationships with representatives from operations that are impacted by the implementation of the grant

• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Oral and written communication skills

• Self-initiating, and trustworthy

• Familiarity with the implementation of federal grant programs and budgets

• Must have ability to remain calm, be patient, and make sound decisions in diverse situations especially as they relate to youth education

• Two years of directly related training and/or grant experience
