Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides overall program supervision as assigned developmentally disability residential treatment program by interviewing with clients and presenting as a leader in a developing and implementing service plans and treatment plans.
- Assesses the service needs of clients, makes treatment recommendations, and intervention suggestions to staff and intervention suggestions to other members of the support team and performs as the lead member of an inter-disciplinary team.
Required Skills, Abilities & Education:
- A thorough understanding of the developmentally disabled individuals, services, resources and tools.
- The ability to assess clients (and families) from a strengths model perspective, along with the skills, knowledge and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective.
- The ability to work with a variety of people.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A BS/BA Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- One (1) to three (3) years of professional supervisory and management experience.
