Description
The Program Director is responsible for quality assurance and program development to a variety of programs assigned to their caseload. Program Directors will be responsible for the oversight of the Program Managers on their caseload and to work collaboratively with all departments to ensure efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all programming functions, ensuring staffing and schedules are maintained
- Provides supervision and training to Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals
- Completes performance reviews for Program Managers in a timely manner
- Completes corrective action and coaching as needed
- Ensures quality, performance, and efficiencies across programs
- Prepares for and participates in annual licensing and relicensing meetings
- Ensures appropriate and correct DHS waivered services are maintained
- Model to staff in tone, morale, and professionalism in interactions with individuals served, RCC employees, individuals’ served family members, care managers, etc.
- Maintains and builds positive relationships as appropriate for upper management
- Interacts with individuals served, guardians, case managers, health care professionals, etc.
- Maintains an open-door policy and remains approachable to mitigate employee concerns
- Takes referrals for new clients
- Complete workplace investigations or assist HR with completing investigations as needed
- Visits programs supervised on a regular basis
- Facilitates L10 meetings
- Fulfills a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and holiday’s

Requirements
Experience
- 10+ years of experience working with individuals who have developmental/mental health disabilities required OR 4 years of post-secondary education in Human Services required and 5+ years of experience required
- 4+ years of experience in mid-level management position required
- 1+ year of experience working with individuals who have high behaviors (biting, hitting, kicking) required
- 4+ years of administrative experience required
- Judgment and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of federal and state employment law
- Strong knowledge of 245D licensing

- Ability to write narratives in grammatically correct sentences in English
