We, the Economic Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, are looking for you, an excellent Program Manager to coordinate multiple technical projects supporting our high-quality information services product, FRED.

A little about you: As Program Manager for our FRED Data Download Program (DDP) and FRED Modernization projects, you will report to a Vice President in Research and work with web developers, subject matter experts, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Manage FRED DDP & App Modernization program and key deliverables. Coordinate team’s execution to deliver on program goals, budget, and deadline requirements.
  • Coordinate overall program and project activity tracking, analysis, work plan integration, roadmap development, program financials, risk registers, and other key artifacts.
  • Perform information gathering and align high level assessments and analysis, working with technical and non-technical roles. Assess and resolve complex problems with guidance only in the most complex situations. Interpret internal and external business issues and recommend solutions and/or best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with our business and IT partners and constituents at various levels including executive leadership updates within the St. Lous Bank and the Board of Governors. Communicate with management regarding status and potential risks of the overall program, workstreams, and individual projects. This will also include collaboration with the communication team, change management professionals, and auditors, as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of project methodologies and tools, as well as familiarity with current and new technologies while staying abreast of Reserve Bank and System technology direction. Perform project quality reviews and propose process or team enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other BA/Scrum Masters within Research to collaborate on dependent projects and share best practices amongst the teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
    • Master’s degree with emphasis in project management preferred.
  • PMI PMP required.
    • Scrum, Agile (include Scaled Agile) certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years’ relevant experience in technical project management.
  • Leadership experience in an IT environment, including experience being accountable for and delivering results through others, facilitating alignment with the organization's strategic direction, and facilitating outcomes across multiple projects.
  • Advanced ability to build and maintain relationships through clear and transparent communication channels and effective, confident collaboration with diverse teams and leaders at all levels and across organizations, in a combined virtual and in-person environment.
  • Perform as a flexible, dependable self-starter capable of gathering information quickly and applying it to projects.

Salary: $ 145,000 - $155,000
