General Summary of Position:

The Granite Government team is a dynamic group engaged in a wide variety of projects at many levels of the organization. The Government Program Manager will support Granite’ recent GSA EIS contract awards as well as other non-EIS Federal Contract awards. Duties will include, but not limited to, providing industry leading project execution. The Government Program Manager will be capable of operating independently in a matrixed organization to manage the orders during the transition time period. The Government Program Manager will manage the provisioning team’s efforts with placing orders and turning up the customer’s services. The Government Program Manager will be responsible for working across departments and products teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage detailed transition project plan in response to RFP to complete installation and/or conversion of services, including the billing, service ordering, trouble reporting, and customer service processes unique to transitioning onto and off from EIS.
  • Work with Task Order Program Manager to create project plan to complete installation and/or conversion, and transition, of services
  • Manage transition project from planning phase to completion
  • Manage tracker of all tasks and phases of transition
  • Hold weekly calls, and provide status reports, to review progress with account contacts
  • Identify and assess the major transition risks and propose mitigation plan
  • Maintain risk management plan
  • Coordinate with other incumbent providers to ensure a smooth, successful, and timely transition
  • Single point of contact for all issues during project
  • Work with Billing team to ensure account is established properly, and provide detailed billing information to the government
  • Coordinate training on systems and processes for account contacts
  • Work with Task Order Program Manager to hand-off all account management post-project completion

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Documented customer service skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas
  • Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced work environment with strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify problems or inefficiencies and independently offer/implement practical solutions
  • Proficient in all MS Office systems, intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Project knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work with confidential information, exercise judgment and discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current or ability to obtain a P-2 Public Trust Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of all Granite’s current products
  • Extensive experience with ADS services
  • Experience using Granite’s systems including Cornerstone, RockLog, WOM, BOS & OM
  • Experience with GSA Schedules Program and multi-award IDIQ contract vehicles
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM or CCCM
  • Supervisory experience
  • Active security clearance
