Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a multi-year, multi-faceted Federal Agency program. The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the program to include meeting or exceeding performance objectives/Service Level Agreements, application of innovative industry best practices, effective staffing and personnel management and meeting program financial goals. The Program Manager will interface with Senior and mid-level Government officials reporting on contract performance, suggesting innovation and creating project teams to advance Agency goals and objectives. The Program Manager will be an effective communicator, written and verbal, and will represent SAIC senior management.

The Program Manager candidate is responsible for:
  • Managing and integrating activities in accordance with contract requirements to ensure technical, cost and financial, schedule, and risk performance parameters are achieved.
  • Effectively managing customer and user stakeholder relationships at all levels, frequently communicating with the Government PM and COR and responding to direction.
  • Managing a fully integrated large team of multiple subcontracts and vendors as appropriate.
  • Assessing program issues and developing resolution to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Escalating issues and problems within SAIC leadership as appropriate.
  • Directing innovative and creative methods, whenever feasible, to ensure delivery of products and services are timely, cost effective, and keeping pace with industry emerging technologies.
  • Ensure Program processes are created/followed in accordance with SAIC and customer quality control standards.
  • Holding the program team accountable for meeting work standards, contractor and government schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policy and goals to the program organization and to subordinate managers and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more of related experience.
