Overview:

In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for a Program Manager who will support for the DLA Advanced Technology Development R&D Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and submit a Contract Management Plan (CMP), which also includes the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and the Quality Management Control Plan (QMCP).
  • Maintain the POA&M and submit quarterly updates to the COR to show progress, accomplishments towards meeting the overall performance schedule.
  • Submit a Monthly Status Report (MSR), which documents overall contract progress to date for all tasks, identifying any issues; listing milestones achieved, and milestones scheduled for the next month; status of all active CAC personnel including travel; the contract funds status report which shows financial status of obligated funds by task, spend plan, invoices submitted, disbursements received, and funds balance.
  • Identify and prioritize potential risks in coordination with COR and develop risk management strategies, as appropriate. The contractor shall routinely monitor risk management strategies to prevent adverse effects to cost, schedule, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have at a minimum: a Bachelor of Arts or Science in a business related discipline (logistics, industrial engineering, management, economics, finance, information technology, or project management)
  • Project Management Program (PMP) Certification
  • 5+ years experience within DoD supporting R&D programs: Generic Logistics R&D Demonstration and Manufacturing Technology
  • High level technical and organizational support services with these programs in the past two years.
  • The candidate must also have been involved in joint service planning activities such as the Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel (JDMTP)
  • Experience with R&D administrative activities in the areas of R&D contracting, budgeting, and program planning and execution.
  • Must have an adjudicated National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
  • Personnel may obtain IT-II Level from DLA after contract award.

  • R&D support experience
