Job description

The Program Manager provides supervision of daily program operations. Responsibilities include: Supervision of direct care staff, provision of hands-on training, data entry in HMIS and communication and collaboration with community partners.


The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, knowledge of CT Homeless and Housing Networks and service delivery models; is highly motivated, organized, and committed to providing Housing First Services. Experience working in a position that supports individuals experiencing homelessness is necessary. Experience working in a residential/congregate care setting strongly preferred. This position will work primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work evening and weekend hours based on program need.


Working within Adult Services, the Program Manager works on the Residential Behavioral Health Treatment care team to support clients’ recovery from mental illness, substance use, and homelessness.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
