Join us as one of our Program Office Staff team members for the upcoming season of Interlochen Arts Camp. The dates of employment are 6/14/23-8/6/23. Housing and meals are included with the agreement and the stipend is $1,753.
The Program Office Staff prepare programs that describe the sequence of events at a concert, recital or other presentation. In addition to the sequence of events, the programs recognize instructors and students involved in the presentation, help visitors learn about Interlochen, and often provide historical information about the presentation. It is common for students and parents to keep programs in scrapbooks for many years.
Major Responsibilities:
- Gathering performance details, typing, properly formatting information and preparing a large volume of programs for concerts, recitals, and other arts presentations
- Program staff work closely with faculty and staff to acquire information for the program, often in a very short period of time
- Program staff work with the Program office manager to make editorial decisions about what to include
- Primary working hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am-4:30pm, with the possibility of longer hours as needed

Experience and Skills:
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, plus advanced musical literature knowledge and editing/proofing skills
- Persistence and strong people skills are required Independent, self-motivated worker who pays close attention to details, can follow set guidelines and procedures, communicates well with others, and enjoys a busy work environment
