Sylvan offers courses in Reading, Writing, Math, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Study Skills, Science & SAT/ACT prep and STEM programs such as Robotics and Coding for kids.

Sylvan Learning Center located in Manteca, California is looking for a PROGRAM COORDINATOR (SALES). Part time position 28-32 hrs/wk.

Responsibilities for this position are to meet student enrollment goals and achieving revenue and growth targets for the center. You will be involved in creating marketing initiatives that will attract prospective students and their families to seek help from the center. You will actively engage in community outreach activities that increase awareness of our academic and STEM programs and build strong relationships with local schools and community organizations. Position requires follow-ups for communications with prospective families about Sylvan programs and using multiple communication channels. Familiarity with web/social networking and advertising tools to reach out to customers will be advantageous.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can also be responsible for creating a positive instructional environment.Additional responsibilities may also include supervising a high quality of personalized programs, mentoring teachers & regular conferencing with parents & school teachers. The person is directly involved in helping maintain the highest quality of education delivery and meeting every enrolled student's academic goals. You should have very strong abilities of developing a rapport with enrolled students, their families and their school teachers.

Local candidates with a strong familiarity of Manteca, Lathrop, Ripon, Tracy, Escalon, Oakdale, Salida, Tracy, Stockton or Modesto and surrounding communities will be a significant advantage to the success of the position.

To qualify, you need a MINIMUM Bachelor's degree. Ideally you will have a teaching background and hold a teaching credentials (any state - current or expired). Two or more years of Business background with a Marketing or Sales emphasis is required for this position. Excellent organization, communication, and strong customer service skills are required.

This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment. Work schedule will vary but will require afternoons & evenings (after school hours) and Saturday morning hours depending upon enrollments.
