Bay Aging is seeking a Program Support Specialist to work primarily with the Weatherization Assistance Program and the Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Loan Program. Candidates with excellent customer service skills and administrative talent will be successful in this key role. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Single Family Housing-Weatherization. 98% of employees are proud to work at Bay Aging. Salary: $16.25/hr-$21.13/hr (depends upon experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Answers single family housing program phones and directs clients to the appropriate resource.

2. Assists with housing outreach and intake both by phone and in-person.

3. Prepares Weatherization Program assistance application packets to mail to clients. Reviews returned applications for accuracy.

4. Keeps a database of returned Weatherization Application and completed jobs.

5. Assists Weatherization Program with scheduling clients and scheduling vendors.

6. Logs and tracks loan program payments to include preparing loan payment books and preparing late letters. Prepares Certificate of Satisfaction on completed

loans.

7. Prepares reports.

8. Prepares Purchase Orders and Vouchers for vendor payment.

9. Performs other clerical duties and projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE

General office knowledge; ability to alphabetize, organize and prioritize and multi-task required.

Work well under the pressure of recurring deadlines. Attention to details and strong organizational skills. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and outside parties. Ability to communicate in person, by phone and in writing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Office-based position with minimal physical requirements (ability to lift 201bs, walking and climbing stairs). Minimal independent travel required around the area served by Bay Aging.
