Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of an ESS Project Coordinator is to support EnterSource products and services to customers, company affiliates and company team members in a manner that aligns with the company culture, mission, vision, values, virtues, policies, and procedures while meeting safety and quality standards and delivering a top-level customer experience. An ESS Project Coordinator will be expected to demonstrate skills such as attention to detail, willingness to learn and complete new tasks as needs change, a sense of urgency during peak volume times throughout the day, and an ability to prioritize workloads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the project's framework and keeps it well organized. Monitoring project progress.
  • Leads project assignments and delegates tasks to ESS Generalists as needed.
  • Handles inbound phone calls or chats to support team members and customers.
  • Demonstrates insightful use of efficient and effective routing and scheduling.
  • Monitors and manages emails and voicemails. Responds to messages in a timely manner.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains daily resolution sheets.
  • Updates information through data entry. Maintains spreadsheets and documentation.
  • Schedules customer orders, tracks job assignments, and verifies appointments with customers.
  • Submits 811 tickets in a timely manner to ensure that utility lines are flagged prior to digging.
  • Closes out jobs and audits installations with a primary concentration on quality and installation requirements.
  • Completes quality assurance checks and photo audits.
  • Monitors and engages with customer and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborates with the team to ensure our internal and external customers and distribution branches are supported properly.
  • Performs general office duties as needed or directed.
  • Assists with other assignments and/or projects as they come up and as the business changes.
  • Maintains an understanding of Google platforms.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

  • Maintain 811 certification credentials. Understanding of laws and regulations that require contacting 811 before digging work starts on any project.
  • Ability to report to and operate out of the assigned office location daily.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Education:

This job requires at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred applicants have an Associate’s degree and/or on the job experience in a related field and leadership experience. Experience working or supporting work in the telecommunications field is a plus.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role with some walking and close vision requirements. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to quiet. The employee is regularly required to work 8 hours a day and can be scheduled any day of the week Monday through Friday, including holidays.
