LifePoint Health has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator - Remote. The Project Coordinator will assist the Unwarranted Care Variation Reduction (UCVR) national and local teams in coordinating team and project activities. This may include scheduling key meetings and events, managing the team’s schedule and assisting in the preparation team documents and presentations. This position will also liaise with the project implementation teams and assist as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Perform as the communications hub for team activities. Maintain awareness of team activities and facilitate communications as appropriate.
  • Assist the national team as well as the implementation teams in the management of their projects as requested.
  • Manage a team schedule to ensure all are aware of important and critical events.
    • Maintain a travel schedule for all implementation teams and National team members.
    • Maintain a calendar of significant events throughout the month.
      • Implementation milestones.
      • Key report-outs.
      • Planned PTO.
  • Participate in team meetings.
    • Schedule meetings.
    • Prepare agendas.
    • Summarize points of discussion.
    • Assist in the development of presentations.
  • Manage departmental and small cross-functional projects.
    • Develop size appropriate project charters.
    • Develop and manage communication.
    • Build and manage schedule.
    • Manage and track expenses.
  • Provide input into improvement ideas and team innovation.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Experience managing small projects or project management education. Knowledge of project management concepts
