Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center Inc., dba LSA Recovery, Inc, referred to as “LSA Recovery” is looking for a program director for Medically Assisted Program to addresses the persistently high need for effective opioid treatment in Brooklyn by expanding our existing opioid dependency treatment services to four currently underserved populations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Directs, supervise, and oversee the expanded OUD MAT program launch
  • Hire project staff.
  • Supervise the MAT clinical team, including a team of peers and a nurse practitioner.
  • Provide MI, Harm Reduction, MAT, CRAFT/A-CRA and other evidence-based training.
  • Ensure full integration of MAT into treatment recovery for OUD.
  • Consult with the CRAFT/A-CRA trainer to provide practice-based responses and to identified challenges, ensuring fidelity.
  • Provide Crisis Management in a clinic environment.
  • Support the patient and identified family member(s)/caregiver(s), advocating and providing support in school, ACS, court matters and the likes.
  • Develop a referral bank (30 referrals per month), and a referral tracking system is created and maintained, creating community linkages that reflect Brooklyn’s religious, cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity.
  • Coordinate case management team meetings, ensuring family member(s)/caretaker(s) and/or referral sources are involved for the full support of MAT.
  • Review Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) for implementation fidelity, identifying challenges.
  • Ensure Pre and Post surveys are administrated.
  • Conduct project evaluations.
  • Collect, analysis and aggregate data for reports.
  • Follow all agency policies and procedures, including timely submission of reports or documentation as required.
  • Participate in weekly supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed clinician with five years of experience working with the target population within a MAT treatment environment.
  • Expert in implementing Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Intensive Case Management with youth and families.
  • Experience in providing crisis management in a substance abuse treatment environment.
  • Experience navigating behavioral health systems and substance treatment systems.•
  • Three years of experience in community development, promoting community-level collaborations, addiction treatment and supervisory experience.
