• Structural Drafting / Design of cargo barge lay-out & Lift details

• Assist with Estimating/Proposals
• Site Visits
• Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
• Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment.
• Project Scope:
  • Platform Removal / Decommissioning (Primary)
  • Platform/ Facilities Installations
  • Heavy-lift Services
  • Emergency Response & Salvage

Note, while the position’s primary function is to support Offshore operations, there would be potential opportunities of involvement within other Divisions of Manson such as:

• Marine Construction Division (Terminals, Piers, Outfalls, bridges)
• Dredging Division (deepening of major waterways & Coastal Restoration)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and minimum of 2 years of field experience in offshore or marine construction; or
• 7 years of Offshore Construction Experience including Operations and Project Management.
• Experience with heavy-lift derrick barges is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position is primarily an office based field position, but will require intermittent travel, including site visits and brief offshore project assignments monitoring of construction job sites. Employee must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc. The employee is required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work on and disembark floating vessels and structures. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time.
