BDR is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team! This position may be performed remotely supporting EST time zone schedule but there is a strong preference for applicants in the San Antonio, TX or Washington, DC areas.

This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Overview

BDR is looking for a Project Manager to support data management and data analytics operations for a large, Department level federal customer. The manager will provide customer support for task intake, tracking tasks to completion, establishing a roadmap, and manage project execution. The lead will be responsible for the delivery and success of key initiatives under the program, including stakeholder and staff management.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop the operational project plan
  • Manage technical delivery and the service roadmap
  • Use expertise to identify and escalate project risk while working with the support team
  • Support requirements analysis, and business process assessments.
  • Support service delivery following data management best processes
  • Support leadership briefings, recurring program reviews, and weekly/monthly reports
  • Lead technical professionals and cross-functional/matrix team
  • Communicate with senior/executive leadership, technical staff and customers on a daily basis, while presenting technical issues in a clear, concise manner that non-technical individuals can understand

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or other related discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
  • PMP Certification.
  • Public Trust clearance or the ability to get one.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing large and complex data projects.
  • Experience managing or supporting technical projects, escalating risks, and managing schedules.
  • Experience with enterprise systems and deployments: IT Service Management, Change Requests, Requirement's collection.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Active VA Public Trust clearance with PIV
  • Experience managing and leading data management operations
  • Experience with claims data
  • Experience with data analytics and tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Technical certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
