Project Manager (Birmingham, AL)
Job description
The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for producing documentation necessary to provide evidence that all work has been performed in accordance with the contract documents. This position will be based in Birmingham, AL.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders / Contracts
- Remain current with all submittals, change orders, RFIs, and so forth
- Account for all project costs on a daily basis
- Submit monthly progress billings to owner
- Prepare and consistently maintain Material Status Log
- Oversee the assembly of all close-out documentation
- Maintain excellent Owner, Architect, and Subcontractor relations
- Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or related field and 3 to 5 years of PM experience with an equivalent construction operation; previous healthcare experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office applications
- Some travel to assigned projects may be required
- Good written and oral communication skills
