We are looking for experienced Project Managers to support projects for one of our largest clients in the Energy sector. The Project Managers will be working with the DA (Development Approval/Application) to support the PUC (Public Utilities Commission) reporting. The Project Manager would also work with the IWP (Installation Work Package) person to understand the scope of what is needed on the project/(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the activities of one or more moderate, short to mid-term project(s) with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes.
- Accomplishes results through matrixed teams consisting primarily of professionals, and/or vendors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Determines methods and procedures for new projects.
- Exercises considerable latitude and judgment in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverables.
- Interacts regularly with all levels of management.
- Acts as a key consultant to management for both functional and business issues.
- Analyzing and managing the data request process which includes filtering the request, defining the questions, and understanding what is being asked.
- Communicating with others by running meetings and working with someone to have support for data aggregation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in the applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 7-10 years of project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory filings
