We are a local, privately owned and operated telecommunications and cellular tower construction company that specializes in directional drilling, property restoration, cell tower, and aerial placement. We have been in business since 1998 and have installed over two thousand job sites each year since. We currently run multiple directional drilling, cell tower, installation/maintenance and restoration crews across the state. Each team is equipped with state of the art, well maintained vehicles and machinery.

The Project Manager and Estimator is responsible for estimating cost, labor, materials, and time requirements; working with multiple teams to gather information and understand the challenges and issues with the site in question; collaborate with teams to estimate resources and manage as required for Tower, Civil and Electrical projects.

This position requires a minimum of five years of experience managing and estimating Tower/Civil/Electrical projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Estimate materials needed for Tower, Civil and Electrical projects.
  • Maintain open and accurate communication with Managers, Supervisors and subordinates.
  • Follow safety policies for safe work.
  • Complete site walks and survey site conditions as needed.
  • Utilize estimation software, service calculators, and other tools to track costs and assemble quotes.
  • Assemble professional proposals, RFP responses and job costing analysis to executive teams.
  • Interact with customers and contractors as needed.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Properly document work performed.
  • Provide support to other team members and staff as needed.
  • Operate company provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follow all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Submit receipts and expense records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to represent the company to Customers or Subcontractors.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
