Cognosante is seeking to fill a Project Support Specialist position in our Program Management Office (PMO) providing direct support to an Army client. This position is responsible for assisting globally-dispersed Project Managers in successfully planning and executing projects, tracking milestones, meeting deliverable timelines, and capturing lessons-learned for follow-on projects supporting Army end-users. *Contingent upon contract award*

This position is responsible for assisting globally-dispersed Project Managers in successfully planning and executing projects, tracking milestones, meeting deliverable timelines, and capturing lessons-learned for follow-on projects supporting Army end-users. *Contingent upon contract award*
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects.
- As required / requested by the lead Project Manager, interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Assists with defining project scope and objectives. Assists with developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Provides support to ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Assists with providing technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree, preferably in a management or project management-related field.
- Over 5 years of experience with project management-related duties.
- Demonstrated organizational skill to track status, completion, and project deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.

- Masters Degree.
Compensation
$72,636.00 - $117,307.00
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
