Overview:Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
This position will be located at NASA’s White Sands Test Facility in the Materials and Component Testing Laboratory Department.

Responsibilities:
Will support the MT2 Propellant group on a large propellant reaction characterization project. Duties could include, but not limited to, project estimate development, failure modes and effect analysis, hazard analysis, design review preparation and support, and coordination of infrastructure development/improvement activities. The position is intermittent with number of work hours determine by workload and needs of the assigned Project Leaders. Prior White Sands Test Facility experience is required, and prior experience working with the Propellants Groups is highly desired.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Material engineering, completed or in progress, is required.
