Overview:
LMI is seeking a Property and Facilities Support Specialist to support the management of our DHS client's office space, warehouse, personal property and equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting facilities/property management and office administration. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

This position is located in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain property transaction records within the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) in accordance with personal property asset management policies and procedures
  • Assist with conducting inventories of property, tagging property, relocating and moving property as required; evaluate cause of any identified inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct periodic reviews of personal property in storage areas; ensure accountability and supporting documentation remains in place
  • Ensure that any lost, damaged, destroyed, and/or stolen items are properly reported on a Report of Survey (ROS) and that an administrative review is established, as appropriate
  • Support development of property management policies and procedures
  • Conduct internal property audits in coordination with the property team
  • Host walkthroughs with third-party contractors for quarterly spot check sample inventory audits
  • Resolve and close-out findings from prior internal property audits
  • Identify and report any excess property to the appropriate POCs and coordinate disposition in accordance with procedures
  • Support organization and management of office equipment
  • Prepare and receive shipments, including preparation of shipment materials and coordinating pickup and delivery
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments, deliver and store items as appropriate, and prepare and process all related paperwork
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain property files and records on SharePoint in accordance with required quality management practices
  • Escort contractors while they perform building repairs
  • Operate motor vehicles for routine cleaning and maintenance services, and to transport staff and property
  • Maintain storage areas and vehicle bays in a safe and orderly manner
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of relevant experience
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understand of MS Teams and SharePoint
  • A true team player who maintains a positive customer-service attitude
  • Ability to effectively solve problems
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Must have valid NYS driver's license
