Job description
We are seeking to hire a Property Manager for the affordable apartment community of Victorian Inn located in Portland, OR. We are looking for a dynamic Property Manager who is experienced, organized, and enjoys working with people to oversee a total of 62-units. The ideal Property Manager will have at least two years' experience managing affordable housing and overseeing multiple staff members.
Location: Victorian Inn Apartments (Portland, OR)
Workdays: FT, Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM
Hourly Rate: $22.00-$26.00/hr (DOE)
Additional Compensation: $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for travel required for trainings.
Responsibilities for the Property Manager
- Office management
- Leasing
- Basic Accounting
- Keeping resident rental records
- Working with vendors
- Resident relations
- Overseeing 1-2 employees
- Working with maintenance technicians
- Working with case managers
- Completing certification paperwork
- Scheduled for on call hours

Requirements:What you will bring as the Property Manager:
- Two (2) years of experience in Property Manager is required.
- Two (2) years of Tax Credit Section 42 experience is preferred.
- Two (2) years of HUD experience is preferred.
- A current valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between properties is required.
- Knowledge of building systems, alarms, and preventative maintenance are all preferred.
- Strong math skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong crisis management skills
- Computer skills including proficiency in Word & Excel
- Strong communication and written skills
