We are seeking to hire a Property Manager for the two HUD apartment communities of Metzger Park Apartments (32-units) and Spencer House Apartments (48-units) in Beaverton. The ideal Property Manager is thorough, experienced in apartment management of a HUD property, organized, and enjoys building a positive, productive environment for residents and co-workers.

The Property Manager will be responsible for recertifications and leasing. These two properties are less than 5 miles away from each other.

Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 an hour (DOE)

Additional Compensation: A monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement travel is offered in this position.

Responsibilities for the Property Manager

  • Office management
  • Supervision of maintenance staff (2 employees)
  • Completion of income certification paperwork
  • Resident relations
  • Coordinating with vendors and case managers
  • Maintaining resident rental records. As property manager you would be the first point of contact for most residents, caseworkers, visitors and others.
  • Available for scheduled on-call hours.

Requirements:

Requirements for the Property Manager

  • Two (2) years of Property Manager experience is required.
  • One (1) year of affordable property management (HUD) experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license, state minimum insurance, and reliable transportation is required to travel amongst the two properties.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Landlord Tenant Laws is required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing is required.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
